Swinburne University, Stage 2

A new multipurpose teaching facility constructed as an extension to an earlier Stage 1 building. It literally reflects the image of the original building – like a Rorschach blot – with the curved arch motif dissipating across the new main facade. The end of the building is represented as a large scale architectural drafting hatch. Winner 2001 RAIA Colorbond Design Award.
