Experienced Architectural Graduate

We’re seeking an ambitious, design-focused Experienced Architectural Graduate or a recently Registered Architect with a minimum of 4 years’ experience to work for our Melbourne studio.

First and foremost, Revit is a critical skill for this role, as is experience contributing to the delivery of high-quality design outcomes in documentation phases. The successful candidate will take great care and pride in their role in documentation, including the ability to coordinate consultants’ information into architectural drawings and have a highly agile and proactive mindset in communicating design intention through documentation. Experience in architectural detailing will set you apart from other candidates.

Minimum role requirements: 

  • Tertiary level qualification in architecture
  • 4+ years’ industry experience in Australia
  • The bulk of your experience will lie in DD onwards on large projects
  • High level of proficiency in Revit
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A passion for exceptional design outcomes

Senior Architectural Technician

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to work for our Melbourne studio on large scale complex projects.

This is a permanent full-time position to work within an established team on the delivery of multifaceted, exciting projects. We will also consider candidates who are seeking flexible or part-time positions, and we offer the option of working from home to all Lyons employees.

This is a hands-on role – every day you will be working within a project team who will rely on your technical skills and construction knowledge to achieve high quality documentation outcomes.

Project Architect

We are seeking a Revit-capable Project Architect with experience from DD onwards to work within our education sector.

This role will initially see you working on one of our high profile education projects from the early phases. You will be relied upon for your high calibre of documentation skills using Revit, and your experience will span across all project delivery phases, ideally on large, complex buildings.

If your experience lies within the education sector, this will set you apart from other candidates, but is not a prerequisite for this role.

This is a full-time, long-term position within our practice. Candidates seeking part-time or flexible working hours will also be considered.

  • 7+ years’ post-graduate experience
  • Experience leading or co-leading documentation
  • High level of proficiency in Revit

Architectural Documenter

We’re seeking an experienced Revit Architectural Documenter to work for our Melbourne studio on health or education projects.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in documenting large, complex projects from SD, through to detailed documentation, tender and construction phases. Your Revit skills will be of a high level, demonstrated by your ability to set up projects, create thorough and accurate documentation, resolve detailing and maintain high-quality BIM standards.

This is a permanent full-time position however, our studio is open to engaging with candidates seeking flexible, part-time and working from home positions.
