Principal

Joanne is a Principal at Lyons who specialises in health projects, providing experienced salutogenic design leadership and delivering meaningful spaces for people.

Coming from a background in educational and public space, Joanne has been instrumental in delivering impressive projects such as Prahran Square and Adelaide Medical and Nursing School (University of Adelaide). She has recently completed work on the emergency departments for Monash Health and Northern Hospital, and has now commenced work on the emergency department for Werribee Hospital.

Joanne enjoys the meaningful work that health design brings. Creating useful spaces and contributing to patient wellness is what drives her; whether it be delivering an environment that’s better for patients, staff, and families, or building relationships with clients and consultants along the way.
