Will Brouwers is a Principal and Design Architect at Lyons with an interest in the role of design to shape culture and sustainable practices across all sectors of public architecture and urban design.
Across Australia Will has garnered experience designing complex, public buildings in the education, research, workplace, and cultural sectors. His key projects include the Andrew N Liveris Building (University of Queensland), New Academic Building (Murdoch University), New Academic Street (RMIT) and ECU City Campus (Edith Cowan University). Will enjoys the constant search for innovation, both technical and functional, that is core to designing tertiary education projects.
Outside of the studio, Will is a member of the AIA EMAGN committee where he is involved in the forum talk series and mentoring initiatives. His ongoing involvement with RMIT University, as both a critique panellist and studio leader, has seen him teach Design Studios across both undergraduate and post-graduate programs. He additionally contributes to studio culture and in-house mentoring initiatives at Lyons, having establishing the Lyons Social Directive.
