Edward Berry is a Principal at Lyons and a Project Architect skilled in the management, documentation and delivery of major, multimillion dollar public and institutional projects. His consultative approach and dedication to superior client outcomes is underpinned by technical expertise and an ongoing investigation into how the built environment can enhance the human experience. His skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) coupled with his passion for innovative, experimentation and sustainable design solutions make him an asset on every project team.
A natural leader, Ed’s project list demonstrates his ability to guide and manage the needs of project stakeholders at all levels—from senior client representatives, collaborators and subconsultants to students and graduates of architecture. Not only has he led award-winning projects across the education sector, Ed is also the practice leader for digital technology within the studio and has been instrumental in the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance visualisation, collaboration, management and documentation.
His experience and exceptional communication skills make him a well-recognised mentor within the studio and the architecture community, as a Sessional Tutor at RMIT University – a role which enables him to encourage and empower the next generation of designers.
